I remember when winning coaches in college sports were inspiring men of integrity and honor like Adolph Rupp, Woody Hayes, Bob Knight, Lou Holtz, Jim Calhoun, and Bo Schembechler. /s
I remember Woody tackling a player from another team on the sidelines, maybe he just tripped him, lol.

….every division 1 program cheats…..
Wait- so you mean that 2004-2005 Illini team we all love, lead by a team full of Bill Self recruits didn't choose Illinois just because? Or that Kofi Cockburn, a kid from Jamaica, decided to move to frozen Central IL to play college ball for a program who hadn't been to a tournament in nearly a decade?!

Did you mean to post this in the Football forum?
Haha, I sure had FB on my mind when I wrote that! Oops.

And yikes, that list of coaching legends sure is sobering. It's a tragic commentary, really.

Couldn’t find the Clemson clip, but here’s one of Woody’s finer moments.

Never thought I’d want a return to the days of the senseless gifs, but here I am. Don’t enjoy the recent turn of the discussion.

Some people are more outspoken about their "ethics" when it comes to hiring coaches who recruit in the gray as opposed to the reason they have to recruit in the gray in the first place... the NCAA doesn't compensate athletes.

Rupp played for Phog Allen at Kansas. Allen played for Naismith. Kansas has been cheating from the very beginning of their program. Rupp was a good student of cheating and took it to UK. Dollar Bill, and Calipari were assistants to Larry Brown, who left every college program he ever coached at with violations. Look it up. The Kansas coaching lineage is a history lesson in cheating.
