Reading tea leaves, but guessing Kofi’s biggest flaw right now is his lack of lateral quickness, rendering him unable to guard pick and rolls or switch out onto perimeter defenders. I’m sure free throw shooting is also an issue but probably a distant second.
Not sure how much he can improve on that with another year of college ball, where he probably won’t be asked to switch out on the perimeter all that often. He could come back and continue to dominate in the paint but if his goal is to play pro ball he sort of his who he is at this point. Maybe NIL provides enough incentive for him to come back another year but I kinda doubt it. Think he would be best suited to continue to try and improve lateral quickness either in the G league or overseas.
