Agree that there will be many considerations. At the end of the day, I would expect both sides to have deals ready to go, and deals that are projections, based on assumptions and trust. There will be some convincing as to which team is the better fit. Money may be the biggest consideration, but I don't think it will be a simple bidding war. No matter what happens, we should learn a lot about how the sausage gets made in this new era.

I wish I knew more about Geoff's relationship with Kofi and his development of bigs. Worth noting Kofi included a picture of them hugging in one of his prior posts highlighting his time in Champaign

Have not expected Kofi back but will be disappointed if he goes to another team as opposed to turning professional. Don’t agree with the KU logic as it is not a bigger market than UI with Chicago and St Louis but maybe location not a factor. Just don’t believe he will be an all American at KU but would be at Illinois and that would certainly add to his $’s.

Geoff and Kofi are tight. OA made sure Geoff and Kofi people were tight too. Geoff did all the workouts with Kofi in the summer and stuff when OA couldn’t.
