what is almost lost in all our happiness that he’s picked us over going to UK, is that he’s also picked us over going pro .
3 weeks ago very few of us thought he would ever be on our roster again .

I'm doing the most Illini fan thing to do.. going in thinking when he announces it's going to be some school out of nowhere and not even FSU. I mean.. wouldn't that be the most Illinois thing? "blah blah going to UConn" .. to the school we beat out for him... cup is still definitely on.

I never said less talent, I said less predictable routine. Without Ayo, the team is still less talented, but we have won with role players. Please refrain from scolding me for thoughts you put in your own. We have a lot of talent on this team, but if the only play we run is pass in for a dunk and the ball never goes back to the perimeter, even you could find a defense for that for one game.
Either way it’s gonna be a big beer day….

I’m usually on the optimistic side of things, but I cannot take another letdown this off-season and firmly refusing to dream of a season with Kofi until it’s all said and done tonight. I’m happy and content with our 7-seed squad for a rebuilding year, and I think they can surprise!
With that said … holy smokes, we could be on the verge of having the two most highly hyped consecutive teams in DECADES. If Kofi comes back (and even if he doesn’t), we all need to step back and appreciate just what Brad and co. have been able to accomplish. I was at the BTT game at the United Center when Iowa embarrassed us.

Nothing like using a school for increased NLI excuse, what does that even mean? Kofi used UK to make the University of Illinois more efficient in the NLI landscape, to that I suppose we should all thank Kofi for making UofI a top choice for anyone trying to earn money in college sports.
