Ugh. A foot away from a miracle catch.

I also don’t get this. Art had 275 yards and no picks. A handful of bad throws, but I thought he played well enough. Loss isn’t on him

Don't get me wrong the defense was trash. But you can't have 20 incompletions in a game and expect a good outcome. There is just so much inconsistency playing like that.

This. I’m not sure why everyone’s wishing for Brandon peters to get well soon. I mean, I want him to get well soon, but this loss is certainly not on Art. If anything the loss is on our running game and our defensive line.

Yeah, 200%. He was asked to go crazy for an extended time there. He DID THAT, and without turning it over through the air. We and the staff need to trust this guy until he proves that he can't be trusted.

By the way, a duck here and there is NOT a reason to lose all trust.

Team did not give up. If that snap that went over their qb head would have been for negative yards or if the punt that hit our blocker wouldn’t have happened this game would have been different. We played a good team. This team is capable of winning some more games but we need to stop teams on third down

Announcers said at the end they expect UTSA to be ranked before long. Wouldn't surprise me at all the way they played.
Could be, but they could also just be a plucky 8-4 type team. They're better than Nebraska either way.

It wasn't pretty in the trenches on either side of the ball tonight. Physically dominated at home.

It ain't depth when you've got 100-odd scholarship guys and 40 seniors.

I’m not looking at any silver linings. Right now this loss is brutal an 1000000% our own fault. We could have had it if we wanted it.

I don't understand, we got our thirty...why aren't we winners? 30 points got Maryland their win, Purdue their win...even our win over Nerbriksa. Why don't we win for our 30 points today, too? /s

frustrating, felt like we still beat ourselves (penalties, turnover..penalties) but still a better product than previous years.
offense needs to get off to a quicker start. would be nice to go early and often to both TEs and 1#

-and let's be honest, we're not (likely) a bowl team but this is still a step forward. many chances for them to quit but had a chance to tie down to the wire

The loss isn't on him, but you can't regularly miss high like he does and continue to put up the kind of numbers he has. Incredibly fortunate across both games to remain un-intercepted.

He's a tough kid though, give him that.
