Why do you think he's the best player in the class??? I believe if Sincere is healthy he's going to be a monster!!!! Yeah I like the way Cam has explosive athleticism but Sincere is polished and he got that dog in him. J Epps has it too.
I think you might be blurring the lines of hype and reality. You really going to suggest sincere Harris is the number 1 prospect in the entire class of 2022? Are the rankings that far off?

I'm talking about if Cam commits to Illinois 22 class that he's not the best player!!! Somebody else is blurring the lines of hype and reality if you think he is anywhere near the best player in the entire class of 22!!!!

To clarify:
1. Cam would obviously be the best recruit in our recruiting class.
2. Cam is obviously not anywhere near the best recruit in the national class.

Questions? Concerns?

And by the way correct me if I'm wrong but before Sincere hurt his knee and didn't play on the AAU circuit I could've sworn that he was ranked ahead of Cam.

No, he grew up in Champaign. They moved to California 2 years ago.
I was more saying he isn't the local in the sense that he has been in Champaign his whole life and desperate to get out and see the world. He has done that already.

What are you clarifying? You weren’t there that that originally posted saying cam may end up being the best player in the class

Not to desecrate ShampooBanana or The U of I....... or really seriously comment on this kids decision in any way.....but I would have done literally anything to get out of central Illinois. Terrible, illegal, awful things. Breaking Bad things.
It's pretty rare that some of these cities actually impact the recruiting decisions of players. And it depends on what you consider a nice city for living.
Other than the University, there is very little appealing about living in most Big 10 cities. (East Lansing? West Lafayette? Bloomington? Iowa City? State College? Lincoln?...the list can go on) Same for a lot of high level recruiting schools in football and basketball alike. (Tuscaloosa, Durham, etc.) There are only so many schools in places like LA, Miami, Atlanta, etc. And many recruits are not looking for a big city anyway.
All things considered, I just don't think C-U places the athletic programs at any kind of disadvantage.

I was being silly more than anything..I love C-U...and I've met some of the most interesting people in my life there, and via the University. I was just ultra motivated to explore.

Pretty much this. Foran reports a lot of recruiting info. If I haven't seen it before, I'll post it here (without the wacky comments). I was doing this long before Nutt went on hiatus.

WRT Foran, he's not a wild-eyed Kool-Aid drinker, IMO. Yeah, he's a huge fan and a cup half full guy, but he's also pretty realistic. Has he made a few over the top comments? Sure. Big deal. Don't like his stuff? Ignore it. As always, take all recruiting info with a grain of salt.
Appreciate you Joel. Over the top comments = originality. And sometimes they're not that far over the top

After a couple of "down" years in recruiting, I would expect OSU to pull some talent. Not surprising
