Bears win 24-14.
Team is 2-2 which many Bears fans probably figured they would be at this point even if they didn't make it easy the first 4 weeks.
The biggest concern coming out of this one will be the health of David Montgomery's knee.

I see lots of losses the next four weeks.
David Montgomery out 4-5 weeks with a sprained knee. Damien Williams to start on Sunday with rookie 6th round pick Khalil Herbert as his backup.
Bears also traded a 2023 6th round pick to the Dolphins for WR Jakeem Grant. Move is mainly to use Grant as a returner. With Herbert as the backup to Williams, they're not gonna expose Herbert in the return game. The return specialist they had been using Nsimba Webster, who they claimed off of waivers from the Niners a little over a month ago, had left a lot to be desired in terms of performance and didn't perform well on punt returns on Sunday.

Bears up 14-3 at half. Bears offense has looked okay on a couple of drives in this game. Run blocking looking pretty good thus far.

Bears get the 20-9 win in Vegas. Offense didn't look pretty in the 2nd half but the defense was able to hold down a Raiders offense that had trouble getting things going for most of the game.
Solid road W for the Bears even if Vegas did their part in ensuring that.
Defense was really good. Bears controlled things with the ground game. Fields took some shots but hung tough and made some late clutch throws when Vegas had the momentum.

His knee hyperextended as he was leaning forward with his upper body and all his weight got put on that leg. Many an ACL have been torn in that movement. Him, the franchise, the city and the fan base all dodged a bullet there.

That was a terrific win for the Bears, I thought they had no chance going in. It would be nice to see more in the passing game but for now the formula is run the ball and play defense. It will take more than 20 pts. to beat the Packers though.
Still not sure that the Bears are much more than a 7-win team, given the remaining schedule. Still, they're a far more entertaining team to watch when someone other than Nagy is calling the plays for the offense.
Gruden resigning as Raiders head coach due to the e-mail scandal as new e-mails have come out now where he used homophobic and misogynistic language.
Longtime Gruden assistant Rich Bisaccia has been named the interim head coach. He was Gruden's assistant head coach and special teams coordinator when Chucky was in Tampa and when Gruden came back to coach the Raiders.

Obviously somebody really detested Gruden and leaked the emails. Wonder if there will be any other shoes to drop.
Well I mean I would resign too if I had just got outcoached by Matt Nagy.
His return to the Raiders began with trading Mack to the Bears and it ends with a loss to the Bears and Mack destroying his QB.
NFLPA is reportedly wanting all 600,000+ e-mails released to the public. I'd venture to say there's slim to no chance of that happening and slim just left.
NFL currently in discussions with 3 German cities (Dusseldorf, Frankfort, and Munich) to host potential International Series games there.
