Hutcherson provides a prescense at the two guard. Need that type of player who can drive or receive back cuts. Like seeing Curbelo, Hutch, Grandison, CH, and Kofi. Good 3 pt shooting, ball handling, mismatch set ups.

Life is so much happier when we win and I avoid the game thread.....

Also, NL # 3 sitting beside me and holding me close helps too.........

I was busy when Trent got hurt but Brian B. said it didn't look good....something about BBV fell on him and hurt his knee.....I bet belo is still feeling the effects of the concussion and I believe he got hit on the head at least 2 times during the game...I expected Belo to throw up when they had the camera on him...

Hutch looked great
DMW hit a big 3 and played great D
Kofi with another double double and a great assist to Plummer for a three
Plummer with seven 3's will be the talk of the college scene , but this was a team victory with all competing hard .....

Hope that Trent is ok
Hope that Belo is ok

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving holiday....My holiday plans fell into place in a great way.....
Details will be posted soon on the Old-Age thread.......................................

No scout, but

Kofi looks improved this year on kicking the ball out. That’s gonna be a big deal.

Hutch is legit. You guys were right. The more he plays the more acclimated he will get. Makes very heady plays.

Have a bad feeling about Trent the way they carried him off.

What’s the deal with Payne? He never plays in the second half. His minutes aren’t that bad.

Plummer has no conscious and I love it. Let it rip.
Payne can’t stop fouling, his minutes will only improve when he can play defense without fouling.

It's not just the must win W...it's the way they finished it. Breaking the press was very well done by Hutch, DMFW, and Plummer. Gutty. Gritty.

Plummer went full nuclear.

Hutch handling the ball at the end could end up being a season saver too.

Please, please good news for Trent.

Now let's see the same Never Posters come in after a W and give BU and the bench credit for gutting that out without Frazier and a broken Curbelo?
I'll gladly admit to a good finish. That is the style of fight I expected to see the previous games.

Thank goodness for Plummer tonite. We look so much better when we play force the action racehorse ball Our athletes have more opportunity to score. Hope BU saw this and encourages it.
Very well said . We have not been a set half court team since BU took over. Transition or bust.

Honestly IMO, it was similar to the last couple games except Plummer hit shots. Kofi & Plummer were good, but the rest of the team seemed lost & didn't want the shot. We have good shooters, if the shot is open hit it. Defense was OK at best, but not the intensity and discipline of last year. Trent's injury is very concerning, he is one of our best clutch players.

We are seeing for certain that this team has a long way to go. Not a great night defensively or ball security ...but there were two glaring improvements that deserve comment.

1. Kofi.....a) definite improvemnet at FF line (if it can be sustained. b) there are other players at the arc that can bury a three when he gets doubled and tripled....and he can see them....and he can pass to them (since there is no one near about 3 of them). Kofi had a good, but not great, game. He will get better, I hope at catching the ball, but fortunately he is patient and not running guys over. KC tonight showed (and I hope learned) that he can do what the NBA scouts want to see (even hitting a short jumper).

2. This team is not going to shoot from the arc with their feet all season. Open shots were buried tonight. Plummer gets a tip of the hat from me...he may be an elite shooter. But after listening to Underwood applaud the shooting of kids I don't think are good shooters, he certainly got my attention and has for his shooting to date. It will be sorely needed, but at his size, someone like Hutch, if focused on the task, can take him out of the game and others need to score too.

Overall, a win is a good thing, but we are learning just how high the mountain in front of this team looms and it is not a foothill. Nevertheless, great to see Hutch get some important min. and show well. Sure pulling for that kid to be a catalyst. And I deeply hope Trent can make a speedy recovery.

Plummer was just lights out. I was hoping he would get 2 more 3's for the school record. (I think they said 8 is the record?)
Curbelo was better even though I was still yelling a few times to "KICK IT OUT!" when he had players open on the wings as he drove towards/around the hoop.
Kofi being Kofi and another double double. Loved that 15 footer while being guarded.
Trent did a lot of other things to help out on an off shooting night. Hope he is going to be ok.
If we had only half the TO's we did we would of won by 20.
Glad we beat Webber.
