USC in Pac12 is a much more reasonable job than Oklahoma in the SEC.
Riley was truthful to the OU fanbase about one thing. He did say he wasn't going to LSU.
Oklahoma is about to regret that decision now. They were likely better off in the long run in the big 12 but we'll see.
Past few seasons haven't been successful for the Blue Devils but the program is certainly in a better place than it was when he was hired 14 years ago.

But, I think we always underrate how competitive and self-confident these guys are and must be to be in this position.
It could just as easily be that he just wanted a change. Or to build something that was his rather than Stoops'

USC is definitely one of the lowest recruiting mileage jobs if sitting on airplanes every week isn't your cup of tea.
By reasonable, I mean that it's got to be much easier to run through the USC Pac12 schedule (plus ND) and get to the playoff than to run through an SEC schedule. That will allow him to build his legacy, sans Stoops.
