Defense has energy, but over-playing everything, leading to blow-by, open man, open shot, etc.
I took my daughter to a campus visit in Champaign month ago. Sports was never mentioned. Why not promote that we have Big 10 sports like football and basketball to get kids excited? Not to be mean, but no one there looked like a sports fan. I just wonder if our young fan base has diminished. When i was there in the early 90s, Memorial Stadium and Assembly Hall were rocking. I'm not seeing any of that today.
I think Hawk is on the bench after another cad turnover to start a game. I agree with ut...good to see Goode things from our freshmen!
Melendez is looking legit! Strong performance on both ends of the court!!!
Our PG has four assists to one turnover, and is 1-1 shooting.
ND isn’t the greatest but you can see the depth and potential in this Illini team. Just need to win tonight and get healthy.
