12/1 Games

I generally find myself not cheering for Wisconsin, but I can't root for a team that has a guy with a double man bun.

I know Michigan is going to turn things around by conference season. But I am so glad that there is another team, especially one that thinks they are so much better than us, struggling even more than we are. It would feel pretty sucky if we were getting dunked on by them during this rough stretch. Hopefully we have turned the corner and have a good December ahead of us!

This is quite the upset.

Great news everyone: Michigan loses by 21, and it wasn’t even that close. Hunter Dickinson with 4 points and 4 fouls. But most importantly, I think he may be this year’s recipient of “most awkward run in the Big Ten.” He runs up the floor like Mose Schrute.
Watching Dickinson off the ball and he looks almost uninterested. Hands at his side. Standing flat footed. And yes he runs like an over weight walk on.

Ga Tech's Michael Devoe scores 33 points but was a non factor for much of the 2nd half. He hit a basket with about 11 minutes to go. After that 4 FTs and a 2 point basket was about all he did for the rest of the game. A rebound and an assist at the end of the game rounded out his second half. I don't know who Wisky had guarding him but they did a heck of a job. In the second half that is.

Smith is really missed on this team. Undervalued PG who did great last year except when Trent shut him down.
MSU on the other hand has found a PG in Walker and they will be tough.

I will always support the B1G against outside competition. If you want to say that your conference is great then you need to beat the outside competition.
well, on balance you do.

If this year's final four is Illinois, Purdue, Wisconsin, and MSU while Indiana, Iowa and NW all lose first round games in the CBI, I think America will think fairly highly of the B1G.

There's plenty of room for conference success and continued justice being served to Iowa and Indiana.

So, I think early returns are showing Iowa and Wisconsin to be better than anticipated, probably Purdue too. Michigan is considerably worse.

I guess we’ve under performed but I think our record needs a huge asterisk next to it given all of the injuries/suspensions/illnesses we’ve dealt with. Still think our ceiling is quite high once we get all of our pieces back and everyone figures out their role.

OSU I guess you could argue has been better but pretty sure they’re a consensus top 4/5 BIG team so not shocked at all a good veteran BIG team could knock off a talented but freshmen laden Duke team at home.

I think everyone else is performing about as expected. Did I miss anyone? Any other outliers?
