Pearl (Satan to some) strikes again.

“The NCAA Committee on Infractions on Friday placed Auburn's men's basketball program on four years' probation and suspended coach Bruce Pearl for two games after it said he failed to adequately monitor former assistant coach Chuck Person and did not promote an atmosphere of compliance.

The NCAA's long-anticipated ruling comes more than four years after Person was arrested and charged in September 2017 with accepting bribes from a financial advisor who was working as an informant for the federal government.”

I think when IU hired Sampson, there were no actual infractions to his name. The B1G has always prided themselves on being a bit above the typical college fray. Of course, we essentially have no commissioner to take on a scummy move like this, but perhaps the president's step in.

Bringing in Satan would essentially signal to the nation that we're going the way of the SEC.

As long as we beat the crap out of them every game, it might be somewhat cathartic. It would also vault Maryland over about every other school in the B1G as far as rivalries. The first time he had to show his face in the SFC would be epic, if he even made it in there without some fan taking him out. Would need a serious security detail.
Chester could chest bump him in the handshake line after the game.
