Hey Dan.

It's time to start new threads on Nil's and NBA draft.

Can we please safe the Recruit thread for recruiting news?

Kevin Duckworth (yay! Eastern lol)
That dude had a lot of polished tools: a jumper with some range, a nice semi-hook, and a nice combination of power and finesse moves down low. I can see Kofi getting
there. I like that comparison.
Peak Duckworth was a force. But that lasted not all that long.

Really good body comp, but Kofi's game has a long way to go to get to peak Duckworth (offensively, anyway). Hopefully, he'll get there.

This is a great problem to have.
Maybe, I just think there is a lot of risk in a small school kid. Especially one that didn't play on a major AAU team.

I can't think of one that has succeeded at the highest level, at least not at Illinois in the past 30 years.

Richard Keene. Brian Cardinal. Robbie Hummel. Meyers Leonard.
Keene was not a small school guy. Cardinal and Leonard certainly.

The AAU thing in this day is a bit odd. Does he really not play AAU? that really has been the big factor in evaluating recruits more accurately then we were able to do 30 or 40 years ago.
