Keep em coming Alamo.

A great win from our boys! Something about blowing out the gophers is just satisfying. Kofi is a beast.

The only time the fatigue really showed was the last 7 or so minutes of the first half. We played with better pace to start the second.

Also this is rarely mentioned but: good job from the refs! A well called game
The first couple of years that BU was here we always struggled at the start of the second half ....I can;t remember this year if we have a bad start to the second half.....

The NL's were cheering to the last second of the game tonight............I love them .........I really really do....................

My Play of the Game: Monte’s on the floor and flick the ball. Not only did he have the tenacity to dive for it, he also knew what to do when he got there.

That’s the kind of sand we expect from this team, and the young ‘uns need to see that kind of play.

Okay, I'm saying I called it and told you so. LOL We came out hot, which I predicted, and Minny took a time out within the first 5 minutes. Which I also called. lol They took the time out at the 15:14 mark! Let accolades begin. hahahaha

That was fun. We won easily w/o relying on 3’s. I was curious how we might react if Plummer & Trent both had an off night shooting from deep.

Kofi is…Amazing.

I don’t know what everyone else saw, but our team is on a different level than Minnesota.
It’s getting cold, but the court is heating up.
Bring em’ on!

Updated efficiency margin after today's games:

Still early, but Illinois increased their absurd margin to the point where the difference between them and 5th place Indiana is larger than the distance between Indiana and Nebraska. Schedules are not all equal, of course, but right now the teams' EM is largely affected by "teams that have played Illinois" and "teams that have not played Illinois" (2-1 Rutgers is still 12th in EM because that's a huge hole to dig out of from game 1).

DMW, plyed more aggressive tonight and pulled a Granderson. Got in open space for his shots. Coleman is weak on offense gets bumped off his path so easy. 3 TO's. Loved his 6 boards though. Seems confused right now. Man when Omar's in, no offense at all. Hope we can improve the efficiency by end of year when Omar's in, Kofi can't play 38 minutes. I L L!

People were worried about this game but Minny never stood a chance. This Illinois team is going to roast opponents that don't play pressure defense. If you let them get comfortable and run their offense its going to be a bad night.

You should have called it twice! Minny called time in the first five minutes of the second half as well.

I wish we could play Kentucky right now. :)

Lunardi had that as our potential 2nd round match-up in his bracket today. We were a 6 seed in the West bracket facing the winner of the 11 seed play-in game between Davidson and UCF.

And just to add that much more spice to it...game would be played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indy.

The potential Round of 16 matchup in that bracket (were Illinois to win and the lower half of the bracket goes according to seed) would be vs. Arizona at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
