There's a potential transfer that the staff has in mind after the season-was not given a name but have heard it's a big time guard
Another Plummer story? We will already have big time guards; but they'll lack meaningful experience.

Sounds bigger/better than a Plummer story. Plummer has played FAR better than expected. No idea how he came off the bench for Utah.

That said, Plummer is now the proof of concept they can sell any coveted guard in the portal—i.e., check out what we did with this guy.

He came off the bench two years ago. Last year he was second on the team in minutes at 28.2 a game and second in scoring, averaging 13.6.

Would prefer a big time big. Not worried about a backcourt of Belo, Podz, Epps, and Harris. RJ and Luke at the wing, Hawk and BBV at the four (with help from Luke & RJ). Omar, Dainja, and Brandon much more problematic at this point. Of course I’m assuming Kofi gone.

That is a young back court, except Belo, with little experience. If we want to win like we wall want to win then you have to bring in some experience and more talent in the backcourt while the young guys learn the mentality needed to win. Let Belo and the new experienced/talented addition lead them.

The kind of big you (and everyone else) want, won't be happening until Kofi is gone. Really gone.

Wonder if he played in the B10 and went to the B12 and current school has 2 of our 3 colors...I'd pass if it is, but I'm just an upper-level mobile pass ticket holder.
I want a big-timer with 2-3 seasons left that has ITGR at about a 60% clip and plays lockdown "ELITE" defense.

I hope it is Mark Smith, he's due. Or Jalen Coleman Lands, it would be good to have someone in their 40s to help with the kids.

Agree that the bigger/better player is likely someone recruited or heard of - maybe because he was in pac12 / west coast - I never heard of Plummer before this year

Couple of guesses
Tiger campbell ucla
Isaiah Wong Miami
Marcus sasser Houston
Pippen jr - vandy

Campbell isn’t going to leave LA for Champaign, let’s be real here. Sasser and Pippen are more likely league bound. Wong is interesting but idk how he’d fit with Curbelo.

Campbell played prep school in Indiana

My search of bigger/better came up with those names. I think they are all reaches but unique situations are more common with portal
