Dude needs a mentor. That kind of behavior is not going to sit well with NBA execs. Could really impact his draft stock.
Does the guy even have any "draft stock" to speak of? I thought he was a top 50 recruit coming out of high school, because in his 2 years at UCLA I haven't heard even a peep out of his production on the court. Could be just that I don't pay a lick of attention to them because they're on the west coast.

Whatever....the whole spitting thing is not gonna be a good look for him in the end even if he is putting up 20/10-like numbers.

He wasn't even dressed for the game!

This is his first full season (enrolled early and joined the team in January last year) and he tore his ACL early this season, had surgery, so he's out for the year. I'm sure that's been extremely frustrating for him, but that's obviously no excuse for this behavior. Explains the lack of production and him not being dressed though.

Spitting is assault? Huh. I did not know that.
Legal definitions vary by State. Typically the definition is something like "unwanted physical contact" and the offense is called either assault or battery (in some states assault is the threat of violence without contact, in which case unwanted physical contact is called battery). In any event, something like spitting has always fallen under the definition of "unwanted physical contact."

A statement from a University of Arizona police officer mentioned he was placed under arrest and issued a citation for assault with the intent to injure, provoke or insult another person.
