Purdue 84, Illinois 68 Postgame

Turning point may have been that possession where the shot clock didn't reset properly. Regardless, hard to win when your opponent is automatic for an entire half. At one point, Purdue was 15 for 20

Lost to the better team tonight. Watch film tomorrow and put this in the rearview mirror. We can still win the BIG. Just need to win out, take care of our business and don't worry about the rest of the BIG..... And find someone to keep Ivey out of the damn lane when we meet them again in the BIG tournament and NCAA FF

Disappointing considering being on ESPN, big hype, great first half. That could be Underwood interviewing on Sportscenter.

Not our night. Open looks for good shooters, nope. Slams for the King, nope. Deflated by seeing Trent on the floor. All this vs a great team on thier floor...whatever.

I hoped we'd keep this to single digits and maybe steal a win. Let's get angry and run the table from here.

Out rebounded 5 of last 6 games (and in total boards by the 6 teams), our center production out played again by Purdue, and shooting woes continue with Plummer and Frazier scoring NO points in 2nd half. That is a recipe for defeat. Purdue shoots 51%. Home court does mean a lot in the BIG.
