Trent absolutely fearless. Huge senior leadership taking the shot we desperately needed to close this out. No hesitation. Once again putting team on his shoulders with his D and biggest pressure shot of game.

Great road win for the Illini. Down the stretch though, Walker beat his man every possession and almost won it for MSU single handedly. Even worse, as the game wrapped up, the refs did everything but start waving green and white pom poms madly, sing the Spartan fight song, and do the splits at mid court. My wife swears the head ref switched outfits with the cheerleader captain and finished the game in a green skirt.

Nice bounce back. Grandi and Kofi were awesome and Trent hit some big shots. Grandi is key to this team. If he's hitting we can beat anyone. First half defense was great, second half not so great, but MSU hit some shots they weren't hitting early. Takes the pressure off at Mich for sure.

I went back and watched that 3 second call on Kofi. That is never called and the intent of the rule is to keep a player from essentially camping out under the basket. Kofi wasn’t camping, and watching the clock looked closer to 2 seconds than 3 seconds. Just don’t understand why the ref made that call at that time. Strange.

We never trailed. On the road. Against a Top 20 Spartans team. In a tough venue. Kept at least an eight-point lead for the most of the game until the stretch. Held off MSU @ end despite unconscious performance from Walker in final 7 mins

Well done, boys. Get the shots falling across the board and you'll be deadly.
Guess I don’t have to post😉!
