Okay then I can safely ignore that tweet I suppose. That bodes well for my ability to pay attention during my afternoon meeting.

Thread is awfully quiet. If this player really wanted this to be a “surprise commitment,” wouldn’t it be pretty feasible we’d have no knowledge ahead of time?

I don’t anticipate it is Boswell

Agreed....also it is usually very quiet before... when we are expecting news. If he had his mind made up already it makes sense.....if not it doesn't fit the thinking on it theme. Sorry maybe I meant since./s

Having spent very little time in Southern California, I never found these sketches even remotely funny. But apparently a great many people did enjoy them because they made a whole bunch.

Also, hat tip on the Evil Roy Slade avatar. I didn't know anyone other than my dad (and by extension, me) had ever seen that movie.
Evil Roy Slade = John Astin's best role (better than Gomez Adams!)

It was Jeff Goodman's daughter's college commitment to Indiana. Indiana fans were speculating a potential international commitment. Yikes.
He sounded like an idiot yesterday on CNN talking about the Michigan incident. Like he was reporting after only having learned about the incident by reading the NY Post.

Is she a 5 star?
She could be one of Wilt Chamberlain’s (presumably numerous) children, and it would still be….women’s hoops? There wasn’t anything I was doing today (on a lazy holiday, or any day) that was worth interrupting for non-news like a women’s hoops game, much less a recruiting announcement.

One of my favorites growing up. Ran into John Astin in the 90’s, stopped him to say how much I enjoyed that movie but couldn’t find it for sale. He said he was working on it and gave me a signature from Evil himself with the backwards E!

He used the word elite in that article. BU is on his mind...
Unfortunately in reference to Arizona...

I thought the comment that "the visit was mostly about my mom" was interesting. Could read that negatively (he's less interested but his mom wants him to be sure about it), or could mean that his heart is back in his hometown but his mom/parents just want to make sure he's making the best basketball decision. Fingers crossed it's the latter.

Your dad is my kind of guy!

Since you mentioned work meetings…

I’m going to go with the latter. LvilleILL is pretty confident.
