Guessing I want Iowa to win to preserve their high NET ranking. Will make for a better win this coming weekend. On the flipside, perhaps a Northwestern win tonight will move them closer to another Quad 1 win for us.

Iowa might stay top-25 net even if they lose today so root for the cats.

If Iowa draws up official papers acknowledging and apologizing for one of their own coercing and illegally wiretapping the phone of a minor, and working with another scumbag coach and his idiot player to make unproven accusations - then sitting back and laughing when the NCAA found it could not stick any of it on our program, but sanctioned us anyway just for the hassle of having to open up the investigation in the first place (while allowing the offending party to carry on and have a highly successful career in coaching)…

Maybe Illini fans who were alive then could START to forgive them. But they’d still be Iowa, so maybe not.

Reminds me of the great tornado that hit Iowa City several years ago. It did 3-million dollars worth of improvements.

It's was strange being both an Illini fan and a part-time (when IL wasn't playing them) Iowa fan in the late 70's and early to mid 80's. I was a Lute Olson guy. I stopped rooting for Iowa basketball when Tom Davis' teams couldn't quit blowing leads. The Pearl incident with Deon Thomas was certainly outrageous ... but I was too busy to know the details. All those involved are long gone from Iowa. You'll never get beyond their lawyers for an apology. The fans that know would probably agree with you, although you will always have those that will continue to make Chevy Blazer jokes.

Kansas State putting up a fight in Lubbock. Don't think they'll pull it out though.

Also the color guy just keeps disagreeing with the refs. Pretty unlistenable.
