To be fair, the refs were pretty bad in the final few minutes. I agreed with the color guy every time. Refs kept blowing calls.

They played tonight with 8 scholarship players.

Help me understand just how in the world Oregon St went from Elite 8 last year to 3-24 this year.

They over-achieved at the end of last year to get to the Elite 8. They were 14-12 (10-10) in the regular season and had to win the PAC-12 tourney to even get in the NCAA tourney as a 12 seed with a NET ranking of 91. 2 of their best players from last year graduated.

They were actually picked to finish at the bottom of the PAC-12 last year, so you could say they over-achieved to finish 10-10.
