Half the job is attracting that talent. And he’s the best at it. The other half, meh.
Actually Coach K has recruited even better than Calipari over the last several years (at least based on rankings). And Scheyer looks to be continuing Duke's ridiculous accumulation of talent.

Iowa and Kentucky losing tonight, might have to sacrifice a Groce upset tonight to balance things out.

I can't look at Frank Martin and not think Lex Luthor.

I have been to NCAA games where Kentucky was playing (same pod as Illini in Indy in 2005). By far the most obnoxious fast I have ever encountered. Close second was LSU football fans in New Orleans in 2002.
I was at the KY game you are referring to in 05. A KY fan patronizingly turned to me after our game and complimented how loud our fans were..and then followed it up with a, "But wait 'til you see how loud we get."

The frustrating part is, he was right. They were louder.

Agree. Would be best for the B10 conference to change the BTT timing. Maybe end it on Saturday? I know, will never happen, too much TV money, etc. Conference couldn't care less if teams are gassed going into the NCAAT. As long as they get 8-9 teams in the league's work is done.
Hurts the BIG every year.

I hate to ask the obvious, but is Calipari supremely overrated/overpaid? Loads of talent. Loads of paper bags. Loads of underachieving, Tschiebwe and all.

Seth Davis making excuses for Kentucky. Hahahaha!
One of the most overrated coaches in history. Nobody talks about his x's and o's it's always about his 5⭐ recruits!

Talent and lack of coaching = 1st round losses, 9-16 last year, backdooring asst. coaches, and tons of failure with the amount of talent he has had.

I have a question for a long time: I have been in several home games in Champaign and the fans of the visiting teams are making noise in the seats next to us, even when our players are shooting free throws. I have also been to many soccer games (in China and in Europe) and such thing never happens - they are strictly limited to certain stands, and are usually separated by security guards, otherwise the fans of the visiting teams will be surrounded and perhaps beaten by the overwhelmingly majority of the fans of the home team when they cheer, let alone booing the home players.
So my question is: why US fans are so tolerant to the fans of the visiting teams?

I just remember them screaming at the refs like their child had been stolen for a travel call - when they were up 30 with 2 minutes left. They may be loud, but they are never happy.
