Just rumors right now (mostly on Twitter from what I've heard and seen), but I'll say it's interesting that our resident insiders haven't shot it down yet, either. *shrug* I personally like Love from watching a lot of Carolina hoops. He can be maddening at times, but he's a difference-maker on the offensive end for sure.

Guessing Lieb then. In all seriousness I don't think there are any players currently on the roster that would make me say, "season over" for next year if they transferred out. I think that even Kofi could leave and the team would be fine. I would personally like to see a new style of play that does not involve pounding down to a big.

Yeah watching Shead in the second half felt like watching Kriisa again - getting into the lane over and over, scoring without dishing and we just couldn’t stop it. On the defensive end, yeah it would be awesome to be able to switch against that. But if we want to compare ourselves to their respective teams, I want to have a dude with that same ability.

I’m still on the case of the mystery transfer guard. We seem to be contacting a lot of potential transfers if we have one that’s as big a lock as it’s made out to be.
Just due dilligence, respect, back up plan?
This is the transfer guard I want. He could be the next “day off” defender we need to replace Trent.

When's it all said and done...I truly think the 22-23 Illini will be markedly more well-rounded and better than this year's team.
