Calculating Figure It Out GIF

but....there were 3 names. Big fella is staying and Belo is leaving? Or Cohawk is leaving and Kofi is staying or....either way, I need a drink now.
Kofi is likely staying. Belo is likely going. And ColeHawk is likely gone, too (reading tea leaves).

I personally feel that if Kofi comes back we certainly can be better.
Call me crazy but I’m no longer worried about Kofi’s decision. If he doesn’t come back we’ll have some growing pains, but given the job this staff has done in less than a year on the job, I feel really good that they’d figure it out and we’d still be in the upper half (at least) of the B1G. Heck, even with the crazy season and injuries we had they did a pretty good job keeping things on track when Kofi was out with the concussion. Feels almost like an out-of-body experience as an Illini fan to no longer worry about the quality of basketball we’ll see in the fall. I hope it can stay this way forever!

Referring to talent or games?

If games - I'd counter and say we hung the same amount of banners despite more injuries and would call it a wash.
.
Talent. If Kofi stays Ayo alone is losing talent than those that graduated this year. We were a one seed because we were better last year. Even if we did lose in the round of 32 and as far as I'm concerned we were B10 reg champs and tourney champs. Last year's team was better. It had an NBA player that is a starter as a rookie on it.

If some of the dudes getting mentioned end up here, I don’t think you are crazy at all. We’ve been very reliant on the immense shoulders of Kofi to scramble defenses, rebound, and defend the paint. He might be the ultimate luxury if some of these Dominoes fall out direction.

DeonThomas

South Carolina
We have our first Big Ten regular season Champion since 2005, with four "seniors" playing big minutes, and we're likely to lose 80-85% of our scoring, rebounding and assists, and add 5-6 brand new guys who have never played together. "Better than this year's team" would be an astounding accomplishment. Not impossible, but National Coach of the Year level.
Sounds a bit like Houston --- 2020/21 and then 2021/22.
