You never really know, but Indy just basically said TSJ was the transfer that's been hinted about for a while now. You'd think that means Illinois' odds are pretty damn good. I still think Hawkins is gone, too, with all the transfer bigs they're recruiting. Sparks could be a nice replacement. *shrug*So I see TSJ mentions Kentucky, Michigan, UCon and Illini have reached out already
Seem awfully positive this is going to happen!?!?
Lot of conflicting info out there. Most I have heard this pm is positive. But as they say recruiting is fluid. No so fast on Cohawk . . .
I'm not sure there were any true insiders here during the Groce years. If there were, the staff at the time was either extremely overconfident or regularly lied to.There was time on Loyalty where people said the insiders on this board were getting there tidbits from 247's premium board, but having been on Loyalty for 7+ years I'm beginning to think it's the other way around.
I support our guys that transfer because they still gave their all for us, but if this is implying Hawkins to the Hawkeyes, I will vomit uncontrollably for the next 10 years.
The tick may not be there. I could totally envision and understand him leaving depending on how things shake out over the next month or so.Podzwas included in 0440's potential roster. Have we got conformation Podz is staying? I hope so. I'd love to see those three amigos develop their games together for a couple years.
^can confirmNo so fast on Cohawk . . .
.
Talent. If Kofi stays Ayo alone is losing talent than those that graduated this year. We were a one seed because we were better last year. Even if we did lose in the round of 32 and as far as I'm concerned we were B10 reg champs and tourney champs. Last year's team was better. It had an NBA player that is a starter as a rookie on it.
Me too, and we will have our own fan base to blame. They were brutal to him this year. It was embarrassing.so texas tech loses yesterday, TSJ enters portal today. we're going on almost a week since our loss to houston with no announcements yet.. hopefully that means that guys like CoHawk and Belo are considering staying.
repeat after me: don't do it beloo!!
You know , this board is such a privilege to belong to.........You get a big dose of fellowship about a sports program that you love and follow intently .......You have a multitude of posters with good intentions , such as the poster above who answered my question post haste and with all the rumors and innuendoes we are always entertained .....
They have higher draft picks in the bench behind him like White for example. Either way my point still stands. They lost NBA talent last year not this year and may be adding some to next year's squad.C'mon, man. Ayo is starting only because the Bulls have had numerous injuries.
Am as big an Ayo fan as there is, and he's had a fabulous rookie year. His accomplishments stand on their own, no need to butter him up.
ahh yes the "vocal minority" of illini fans. 99% will be disappointed if he leaves. having lived in PR for a couple of years i'll be very sadMe too, and we will have our own fan base to blame. They were brutal to him this year. It was embarrassing.
I took it as extreme disbelief in the response. But thank you for the nightmare fuel.I support our guys that transfer because they still gave their all for us, but if this is implying Hawkins to the Hawkeyes, I will vomit uncontrollably for the next 10 years.
Not so fast as in he may stay??No so fast on Cohawk . . .
