Andre with exception of OT Purdue loss where he went of for 20 pts had a rough season.

He is harder on himself than any fan and does not worry about social media. least of all a bunch of middle aged fans on bulletin boards.
He loves Brad and the University of Illinois. He wants both to be successful. He is not worried about playing in NBA - he believes in himself.

He is the leader of this team. Unless Kofi comes back he will have the most seniority and be the most important player of the team. If you watched him on sidelines when he was out he cheered harder than anyone else and multiple times almost got technicals called on him.

I don't think he is going anywhere. Everybody has been benched at some time in their career. The coach does it because it is the only thing he can do to get their attention. Andre is smart. I am sure he had offers last year and the outlook was grim with Ayo gone, Adam gone and Kofi in NBA/transfer portal. Next year this is Andre's team.
Hard to rationalize missing team meeting then

If watching an inordinate amount of basketball the past 2+ weeks has taught me anything, it is:

The more 6'-5"-6'-10" athletes the better.

I've mentioned it many moons ago on here, and watching Houston, Texas Tech, Arkansas, Purdue, Villanova, etc, etc has only reinforced it in my mind. The only outliers would be an insanely talented SG and a mountain of a man in the middle.

The news on this board today has me salivating. (That said: old Ironsides, my trusty and rusty cup is firmly in place.)

He gone bruh
I'm reading a lot of smoke, but not seeing any fire on the AC talk. Why wouldn't that be announced already?

I'm not rooting for anyone to leave, but wish them mostly well if they do. Or as Brad said, if they don't want to be there, they can play somewhere else and we'll kick their butt (censored for the children).

I'm not going to speculate, as our insiders are well more informed than I could be, but if memory serves me correctly, his family came in to see our game in Evanston and he was pretty much glued to the bench. I think that there were some unhappy tweets that were sent out after. I know he got we heavy minutes late in the season, but it was really due to injury and necessity. Also didn't seem like he and BU clicked. BU was trying to tap every last ounce of potential out of him(and he has a ton), but not sure that CH appreciated how he went about it(tough love). Now, transfer or no transfer, that seems to be how the season unfolded. Time will tell. Hope the kid stays. IMO, he's going to be a star somewhere.
Coleman and his dad's liking a series of tweets calling Kelvin Sampson the best coach in the country and not agreeing with how BU handled the roster doesn't lend itself to confidence. Hope he stays - would love his role in a more up-tempo offense next year.

I'm hopeful for all the speculation. Skyy would be a huge get. We don't have anyone that dynamic now. And TJS would also fill a huge need. If those two offset Hawkins and Curbelo (if they go) that's a big positive bet gain imo.

Love Belo. Likely my favorite player this season and he dealt with a lot. He does need to slow down and not try to win the game with one play and play to his strengths. I don't want him to go because I believe he has talent and will improve. If so I wish him the best and he will be missed but we can still find an amazing PG with a different set of skills and thrive
