I fed a bot 10,000 pages of Illinois Loyalty posts...
The predictions will be flowing like fortunes from a fortune cookie factory.

Samba Kane/Brandon Lieb. Alan Griffin, Adam Miller, Andre Curbelo and Giorgi Brezzy this team would have won the BIG TEN. The ILLINI coaching staff would not have to scramble and rely off of players who were hurt/ or Damonte playing out of position and TRENT/PLUMMER - Not the answers for the team that lacked size at key positions. With SAMBA, he was already Big and ready to score in a Major role, because he can rebound well and block shots, look at Samba now? He developed that strong, defense mentality and is a SR. Alan Griffin, bought in with the coaches and he had one of the best seasons as a freshman off the bench. He also was able to get to the basket and score. At 6'6. and his shooting ability- you could play him with Andre or Trent Frazier and he could take the bigger guard on the defense and you would not be at mismatch on the perimeter as we saw so frequent of with this former group. After Illinois who were recruiting a lot of highly ranked prospects with Antiqua and Chin Coleman as lead assistant's; they had a decent year 2018 but with AYO and KNOWING KOFI Cockburn is, was coming to play for the ORANGE and BLUE. "Adam Miller' embolden by playing at his hometown.....Chicago/Peoria's one of the best shooters and playing with Ayo could make 2019, 2020, 2021, and further a team of DYNAMITE and DESTINY. He led Morgan Park and became a 4 **** prospect and defines the #Every Day Guys" mentality perfectly for what BRAD UNDERWOOD and his great staff envisioned from the beginning to now.

Just curious. As recruiting is fluid, if all of the dominoes at present fall the Illini's way what happens when someone else pops into the portal. A 5* small forward or athletic 7" C that has interest for instance.
At 7" that dude better be uber-athletic! At least 5" worth of dominant erupt!

We will probably pass on 7 inch centers. And how athletic are we talking? Like a Larry Bird? Unless it’s this guy:

Did hear his growth plates are wide open, though. In all seriousness, good points. However, as OrangeFever used to say, take pie while pie is passing...a bird in hand...or something like that. I think a lot have learned there are no guarantees so take the best you can get while you can get them.

Haven't seen his name mentioned as much here but wonder about mutual interest between the staff and Trevon Brazile

What I am saying, is that Samba Kane and Alan Griffin were on track to be BIG players that (definitely), this current team didn't have. Alan Griffin was a guard/forward, at 6'6 range could guard bigger guards....and score in the post as well on the perimeter. Griffin transferred to Syracuse and got them I believe to the sweet 16. before he left. When he played, with AYO and Giorgi, Illinois could switch and still manage well at defending the post with (Samba Kane and Alan Griffin) steady improvements and working with your other incoming freshmen. ILLINOIS would have not only had size and skills in the post with Samba but the shooting with Damonte, Trent, Alan Griffin, and Andre would have had experienced group that had played a few years with each other including; GIORGI who was perfectly fit for the "stretch 4 position". If you; get players to sign with your program you have work with them to being the best position on the court and mentally strong off it. Because they (the players) may not be ready to start their freshman year. So you still have to work with them to see that his college career develops and his impact maybe worth waiting and maturing to one GREAT experience after another.

One of the things that basketball does is expose and display on the court one’s basic personality (from Real Life).

Alphas in Life become Alphas on the court. Those more comfortable in the background become good role players happy to let others lead.

Some (and play) live afraid to make a mistake. Others take their mistakes in stride and just keep on doing their thing.

Some guys are conservative. Some are risk takers.

Only those closest to Belo know the kind of guy he really is. But if you can draw any conclusions from his court play and work backwards... then he is a showman and isn’t afraid to push limits. If true, how this impacts his life only he and those closest to him know.

What is clear is that he has a special gift for talent and flair. And if he can learn to channel these in the right direction, then there is no limit to what he can accomplish on the court... and in his Life.

There is no true Illini fan who doesn’t want to see Belo succeed and get past his challenges whatever they might be. Whether it is with the Illini or elsewhere... we wish him the best on his personal journey and we thank him for what he’s already given to the Illini program.

Coach has said it. Guys like Belo don't come along every day.

Even though it is irritating, I am intrigued. Why are some names all caps and others not?

Again did the coaches at Milwaukee take his commitment just to be adding a piece or did they recruit him knowing how and what's the strengths to make him a better player and person going forward. I saw a few of their games and their (guards) were controlling the ball and they had another 5 star player in Patrick Baldwin and he shot a woeful 37 or something % from the field. I will also say that UW-Milwaukee will have either a new coach and/or more than 6 to 7 players that will be in the transfer portal.
