Was really impressed with Ty’s defense and think that is going to separate the youngsters. Really believe he can guard a 2. At 6’6” that’s a lot of defensive flexibility. The offensive can become Kofi and 4 positionless guys who can pass, slash, and at least shoot from midrange.

No info but my gut says the logic that is most likely is Nahiem Alleyne. Coach Frazier's ties to him, his experience at 31 minutes a game, very good shooting, and effective ball handling just make sense. A line up with Nahiem Alleyne at PG, Skyy at 2, RJ the three, and Hawk around Kofi would be solid and should improve spacing. Sky/Epps could certainly play point too. Ty and Goode challenging to start as well at the 3/4 spots. I am also hoping we can find one other 3/4 that can slash, shoot and play D.

Agree with a lot of this but Skyy would play point and Alleyne would be the 2

I think in Brad’s mind, a lot will depend on defense but just like you said, 3 point shooting is important, too. End of the day, it’s a combination of talent and maturity.

Alleyne shoots under 40% on 2 point field goals.

At the end of the day it's about if Kofi comes back. If he does then he is the center piece and will have a huge impact of who is on the floor or not.
Going to be a big domino and will impact what we do in the portal over the next few weeks.

Trent Frazier did too but Nahiem Alleyne is 6'4" shoots it much better than Trent 32 percent from three. We will certainly need to add slashers but shooters are needed around Kofi. If we brought him in it would provide experience and for his outside shooting.

Frazier missed some open looks down the stretch in key games that would have loved to have seen gone down, including at least 1-2 that would have been huge to hit vs. Houston, but I always take his FG and 3-pt percentage with a grain of salt and don't hold it against him because he took so many ridiculous heaves with the shot clock nearing 0 because nobody else would either 1) take an open look when they had it or 2) be able to create their own shot. Trent must have shot about 10 percent at best on those all-too numerous possessions which obviously brought down his overall numbers.

It seemed Trent shot better early on, but fell off as the season progressed. He was passing up shots the last 1/4 of the year. I really felt he was worn down at the end.

Trent was always an ok shooter that was very streaky. I would like a legit around 40 percent consistent three point shooter. While what you said may be a small part of it s lot of guys that are shooters that happens to. What brought TF down more than anything was being forced to play point since AC never found himself this season. Coming off screens would have helped his numbers. That being said we need more shooters with some size. We have added some last year and with this years class. It is my expectation that will most certainly happen more in the portal. I anticipate we add at least one more starter that can shoot that is not yet signed to our current roster. If that happens and Kofis passing and overall game improves we will be better next season by the time the tourney rolls around. Going to be interesting to see who BU adds.

Are u serious. Trent was half blind for the Houston game.

While Trent was always an inconsistent shooter, judging him or our team on that Houston game is absurd. Two of our best players and two of our three best shooters) were nowhere near 100%.

Dude, I'm on Trent's side here- he took so many low-pct shots becuase nobody else would shoot.

Yes, I know he had pink eye. He also hit a long 3 just before half vs. Houston to get us right back in the game. Was his eye OK on that shot? But not the ones he missed in that game?

I was at the game.... he was definitely bothered by the eye. It was more obvious during warm ups.

I think you can attribute that 3 before half more to his experience as a fifth year senior who had played in many big games in his career.

He looked as if someone had punched him. At first, I was thinking he caught an elbow in practice before I remembered he
had pink eye. There's no way his accuracy was not hurt by the infection and swollen face. Depth perception is everything.
