Dude, I'm on Trent's side here- he took so many low-pct shots becuase nobody else would shoot.

Yes, I know he had pink eye. He also hit a long 3 just before half vs. Houston to get us right back in the game. Was his eye OK on that shot? But not the ones he missed in that game?
This logic may need further review. He shot a lower percentage because he could barely see. Think of it as the probability of making a shot going way down.

I was at the game.... he was definitely bothered by the eye. It was more obvious during warm ups.

I think you can attribute that 3 before half more to his experience as a fifth year senior who had played in many big games in his career.
I was at the game Friday and agree that his eye was totally bothering him. Nothing but mad props to Trent all season because I'm sure his shoulder was killing him as well, and I can't shoot well with two good shoulders and two good eyes let alone one shoulder and one eye, can't imagine what Trent was trying to do to help us win those games and advance. He'll always be one of my all-time favorites

Ok cause I think with Kofi we still have a question mark who the fifth starter will be. Could be a veteran guard or TSJ or Ramey. Hopefully we get answers soon
Plus with them having to pull out of the draft this week or sit a year from what I heard on sports talk this am there could be more options that aren't yet mentioned than after the 24th. Also I would still hope Adam Miller is a possibility unlike some of you.

100 percent agree but sounds like there's other factors in play

Ramey would still be a huge get.
Insiders, remind me, wasn't there some kind of bad blood between Underwood and Chris Beard? Was it on a Shannon recruitment or someone else or am I completely mis-remembering this? Here's hoping there was and Ramey coming to Illinois would stick it to Beard

Think a veteran guard like Ramey could work really well with freshmen like Clark and Epps

I’ll take Ramey or TSJ. Is TSJ out I didn’t get that feeling? I’d be happy with Miller also but definitely third in this trio.

You are thinking of TJ Holyfield.

It was over TJ Holyfield

I like Miller as much or more because he would have 3 years left. If he happened to play well enough to leave for the league then even better but he would likely be here longer than those others. He has Peoria and Illinois roots. Plus I think he has more potential that has yet to be tapped. He played very well for a freshman in a tierchiary role at best. I think he will be better than many of you may.

It was TJ Holyfield. Underwood had helped Beard with analyzing some game film in the tourney if I’m not mistaken, and right after that Beard turned around and “negatively recruited” against Underwood and stole Holyfield right out from under him and wind of it got back to Champaign.

I see it has been answered. And that’s what I get for not reading all the replies before posting.

Beard is at Texas now, not tech.
