Illinois is becoming a Top 20 destination school

2021 BTT champs ,#1 seed, Ayo and Kofi All Americans
2022 BT regular season champs. Ayo starter for resurgent Chicago Bulls

IMO MIF and Mean Streets kids go where they want to go.

The AAU coaches give advice but at end of day kids can switch AAU teams and go where-ever they want.

If anything the NIL gives even more power to kids. It should be very interesting since people will be able to legally give HS kids money how the entire AAU model evolves.

They're out of scholarships. Actually one over at the moment. Plus they just got the Juco Player of the Year who is a PG.

I'd probably take Yuri because I just don't think Ramey is interested in a complimentary role. I think he wants 30+ mpg and not sure we want that, if we get another starter calibre wing in the portal.

What's the story w/ Yuri? Pass first point guard | experienced ball handler while our freshmen get acclimated to the college game?

I see Yuri is only 6ft tall. Also what about the young man from VTech? Are we still in on him. I thought we had a good shot at him.

was a photographer last three seasons for SLU. Yuri is a warrior, pushes the ball constantly which sometimes leads to turnovers. Super aggressive, incredible vision and passer. 3 point shot and FTs improved this season. Built like a linebacker. Extremely extremely focused on the court.

From what I've heard and gathered, IL is still recruiting Alleyne. I just wonder if there are other priorities ahead of him, like Ramey (and now Collins). Seems safe to say TSJ and Hopkins are likely headed elsewhere, so that narrows the list a tiny bit.

Agreed. Ramey looks to be a bit of a "ball-hog" while Collins looks to run an offense. Oh, I could also be wrong.
