There was a famous blues singer named ZZ Hill.

One of his songs was... “I Created a Monster”.

So, it looks like another ‘ZZ’ is going to contribute to the Roundball Monster of the Prairie State.

wonder if staff would have interest in Yuri collins. established point guard, 45, 36, 82 for shooting percentages and the assist numbers are clearly off the charts at 8 per game. only downside in my eyes is the 4 TO per game. He could be fun with kofi

No idea if we're in the race for him, I think he'd be a perfect Curbelo replacement. Gives you the playmaking but more under control. Would fill the role we're looking to fill with Ramey. Clark as a 2 next to him would be a nice fit, IMO.

EDIT: Ooooh, Andrew Slater, who usually knows his stuff, tweeted "The color orange" with a crystal ball emoji for Yuri. Obviously could be Tennessee, Florida or Syracuse. But he's from St. Louis...

The MIF relationship changed big time with the Adam Miller recruitment/transfer . Mike Irvin was right in the middle of that one. Chin leaving didn't help either. There was way more than just Adam's Mom in that situation. Clearly it has swung to Meanstreets/Tim Anderson.. It is not happenstance that we might or have ended up with Ty, Morez, James Brown, Nojus, Dainja, Skyy, ZZ and I might be missing one. OTOH, how many MIF will we get out of TSJ, Miller, Pinson, Dai Dai, Taylor, and Reeves? Go Illini

I've seen it happen to a few. It's not common by any means, but it has happened.

That being said, I don't think it would happen with the Clarks. The family seems to be goal oriented enough that they know what needs to happen and have made sure their sons know that. I also don't think there's any harm in reclassifying though if his grades are there. Aside from academics, another poster made a point about not courting injury if it wasn't necessary. I think that's worth considering too.
