Hunt, Buchanon and ADC all -2 out of the blocks, for our 6-under start............while MSU is even for the day.

Still think it comes down to Illinois and Purdue. Lots of golf left but a good start today.

Was just looking at the scores from yesterday and found this. MSU played the last 11 holes yesterday without a single bogey. That is 55 holes of golf on a very difficult course. Next best in the field was 7 bogeys or worse over that stretch. That is remarkable!

Thus making them due for lots today.

We have cut the deficit in half to 5 strokes after the first 9.

Must be tougher conditions today. Only a handful of players under par.

One thing that bodes well is that all five players from Illinois are at +1 to -1, while Michigan State has one player at +8. Thus, Illinois has a lot more margin of error at this point in the round

ADDC and the team really did so well with no doubles day 1. They have 3 today two by ADDC shocking. If we can figure out wtf were doing wrong on holes 4/5 (tough holes but other teams are playing them much better) we should be fine. And Tommy and Jerry gotta play holes 1-3 better. They're favorable holes and we need them to be good starts.

Now it's hole 15 hurting us. That's a hole you should make up ground on. I think conditions are getting worse as the day goes on since the back 9 should be more favorable than its played for us and MSU.

Down by 1 stroke at the end of the day. Rough go of it on holes 14 thru 17....8 over.

Great finish from 4 strokes back to 1 stroke back after jerry and ADDC birdied 18 and MSU had a bogey. We just need to be a little more consistent and not have the stretches of really bad golf as a team that we had on both days. 2nd low score of the day at +4 tied with Iowa who has a 9 holes left on 4 golfers and Maryland who was an impressive +3.
