Well played, my friend. I'm reminded of "Ten-Cent Beer Night" in Cleveland's Municipal Stadium in 1974, which ended with Indians fans rushing the field and assaulting the Texas Rangers (manager Billy Martin got in some tasty licks on some of the drunks.) And also, of course, the epic Disco Demolition event at Comiskey Park in 1979.

10 cent beers. much better than those quarter beer nights on campus back in the '80s

So if he is finishing his classes at Texas Tech, he could’ve gone to Michigan?
Bottomline is we got him into school here. Michigan probably could have if they really wanted too but I think he wanted to come here all along just had to navigate some things before it could happen.

There is a lot of back story with this recruitment and drama from the people involved.

Anyone have info on a timeline for Nance, Mayer, or anyone else that might be a possibility?
Well, since we are going back to weekly threads next week, I expect a lot of conjecture and rumors generating massive amounts of Loyalty posts about next Tuesday.
