As long as he doesn’t take Malcolm Hill’s spot.Just hope he can get a 2-way deal if nothing else, that's half a million bucks. That's still life changing money for him and his family.

Angles strike againKatz is also standing in front of Kofi, which makes him appear larger.
To be fair.....all the mavs do is run a high ball screen for Luka....I could coach their offense lolAyton got stuck on Luka several times during the Mavs-Suns series. Not only could he not guard Luka (in his defense..nobody can) but Luka was able to step back and shoot over him. NBA offenses are designed to find those mismatches and exploit them. Coaches need to have the personnel to offset or minimize them.
Kofi can find a home as a role player for certain matchups. If he can become an elite rebounder, and not a defensive hole.....he could find a place.
He's such a good person that I hope his intangibles push him over the hump with a team.
This looks like a good place for me to vent concerning the Bulls. I have turned on the Bulls numerous times to watch Ayo only to be so frustrated I had to turn it off. When healthy, the Bulls often run an offense that seems to consist of throwing the inbounds pass to DeRozan and having the other 4 guys run down and stand in the 4 corners of the half court while Demar dribbles down and dribbles around a bit and then shoots. The NBA is often a downgrade of basketball team offense from the college game it appears to me. I guess some of it may have to do with what's in individual contracts. If Kofi were to get a chance with the Bulls I would be concerned as to whether he would touch the ball much.To be fair.....all the mavs do is run a high ball screen for Luka....I could coach their offense lol
293 lbs with 8.2% body fat. That's just insane.
Kofi's made out of granite293 lbs with 8.2% body fat. That's just insane.
Could you imagine him on a pass from the outside? So what are the odds Kofi winds up in the NFL when it’s all said and done

That's a really good question. See if @illini0440 can go ask his good friend Fletch.Wondering what it was when he arrived on campus
Remember when Groce was coach and alot of the stories about our players off the court were not good to say the least. Love the direction this program has taken since Brad and Josh took over.

320lbs as a freshman, doesn'y mention body fat but the pictures show the story
No idea body fat. But he was over 300lbs when he got hereThat's a really good question. See if @illini0440 can go ask his good friend Fletch.

I think his best fit will be on an Eastern conference team that lacks a big-bodied big and needs a bit player that can handle (as much as any human can) Embiid in the post. Granted, Embiid's game has drifted outwards just like everybody, but I have vivid memories of him bulldozing the Celtics when all they could throw at him was Enes Kanter, Daniel Theis, etc. Kofi's best attribute is that he's big and strong and wouldn't be as easy to back down in the post. I don't see Kofi being more than a 12th man on an NBA rotation since a lot of teams (like Dallas) would just exploit him on the perimeter, but I agree that he can still have value as a guy on the bench that can be thrown at a mismatch nightmare like Embiid.Kofi can find a home as a role player for certain matchups. Fletch works for your dad, so can't you just ask him?No idea body fat. But he was over 300lbs when he got here
It is difficult to watch the NBA these days. The lack of defense. The weird offenses being run. The prancing around. Yes, these guys have terrific skills. But the end product today is not good basketball and lacking in true entertainment value.
For example...
There was beauty in watching the pre-Jordan Bulls of Jerry Sloan and Norm Van Lier and Chet Walker and Bob Love and Big Tom. These guys played their guts out every night. Their defense was tough as nails. Opposing teams hated playing the Bulls because every game was a brawl.
Bulls offense was not the most smooth or talented... but Sloan could hit from mid-range and Van Lier could carve up defenses with his penetration. Love was a skilled scorer who piled on the points each night. And Chet Walker was silky smooth and had the wicked pump-motion-head-fake that made defenders look silly when Chet finally got them on their feet when they fell for one of his pump fakes. And Big Tom would feed the offense from the mid-post and distribute the ball to the open man.
All of these guys would have trouble surviving in today’s NBA. Their skills have been devalued in favor of guys just standing around at the 3-point line and heaving up bombs all night.
Somewhere along the way... the NBA stopped being the place where the best basketball on the Planet was being played each night. Fans paying premium prices for a degraded contest.
