Get out to Flamingo Row much? Dude, those stuffed breads are legendary!!! Kirchoff's Bakery, too. Remember the sister store, Peppermills, next door? My sister ran that for many years. So, yeah, I know you probably didn't enter your quilt in the annual competition, eh pru? ;)

Thx for sharing. I would suspect this mean Hawk will be given the opportunity to beat out Mayer at the 4?
Back up Dain and Mayer. Still plenty minutes. Probably the rightful place for him until he can reliably score off the dribble or become a lock down defender.

Depending on how good Mayer is on the wing, how good Hawkins is at the 4, etc.

But it’s either RJ or ColeHawk as 6th man it would seem. If Dain is that solid at 5.

Do we want someone who could play 2-4 first off the bench of someone who can play 4-5?

Also not having a true sub for the 5 could push ColeHawk to the bench even if having RJ as a more versatile sub might make more sense for 6th man.

Visited campus today … Name should sound familiar … 👀

He looks just like his mama.

I didn't realize both Tamika and Tajua went to Stevenson, or that they both won IL Ms Basketball. His mom playing at the alma matter isn't too shabby either...

Deep bench years

1980 Illini - starters Derek Harper, Eddie Johnson , Mark Smith, Derek Holcomb, Perry Range
Bench - Tucker JC AA, Griffin (HS AA)

Derek Harper and Mitch Arnold were still in high school in 1979/80. Craig Tucker was still in Juco.
The 9 man rotation included EJ, Smith, Griffin, Range, Reno Gray, Hulk, Rob Judson, Neal Bresnahan, and Kevin Bontemps.

1980/81: EJ, Smith, Hulk, Range, Harper, Tucker, Griff, Leonard. Mitch Arnold barely played. Bontemps struggled and dropped out of the rotation.

1989 Flying Illini - starters Bardo Gill Hamilton Anderson and Battle
Bench - Marcus Liberty #1 rated HS player in country, Larry Smith Street and Smith AA, Andy Kaufman
Kaufman did not play for health reasons. Ervin aka Erving Small was part of the rotation. PJ Bowman was 9th man.
