I know that programs have to do stuff that recruits and players want to do and see, but I , for one, dont participate in social media really and prefer the old school ways of doing things .

But I'm 60, so theres that

Another crystal ball for Guinn. Staff must think he's underrated. We took 3 TEs in the last class so wouldn't think it'd be a position they'd really reach for in this class if they didn't like the player.
makes you wonder if he is really all that and no one else knows, or do they see him more likely playing on defense ?

You are a youngster.

I do like cell phones. People don't assume I am nuts when I am talking to myself.

One thing annoys me is the use of verbs as nouns and so on, like an "edit."

He flew up with his coach to a camp held by UI. Coaches saw him, evaluated and offered at the camp. They definitely saw something to offer on the spot.
correct

we just don’t know what they saw exactly and where they see him contributing . it’s not like any other FBS schools have offered . he may very well have something no one else in FBS has recognized yet

they obviously see him worth of a scholly ‘& a spot on the roster

And, there are two 4* in-state TEs in the next class ('24). Both he and Lott feel like odd takes

Given the recent discussion regarding Jaheim Clarke's reported 11.37 100 meter time, I find it interesting that 247 reports that Moore posted 100 and 400 times of 11.55 and 51.43 as a Sophomore. IMO, this reinforces the idea that football speed isn't necessarily the same as track performance, but what do I know? Until they prove me wrong, I'll trust that BB and the coaching staff are recruiting players that (on average) can compete at this level, regardless of what some of the metrics might indicate.

As the primary person who brought that up, I’d note that 51.43 is a pretty darn good 400 time for a sophomore. With proper training, I’d bet he could get down around 48 as a senior.

But even as is, a 51.43 400 is a better time than an 11.37 100.
