I personally get a kick out of listening to him. He and Benetti were fun to listen to during the Maui Jim tourney. But, then again, I loved Haray Caray and Ron Santo as broadcasters. I like his humor. But yes, only a few games a year.

YMMV, but if you are tech savvy and use the uBlock origin extension, you can add code to the "my filters" section fixes the problem on Chrome and lets you browse Twitter without being harassed to log in. Just search reddit for it. Tried to past it here but the website hijacked some of it and turned it into emoticons.

Recruitingwise I think USC is the big winner. The best teams seem to be doing very well on a national level. But middling teams like USC can probably make a better play for midwest talent with a lot of away games within driving distance of Chicago, for instance.
He should have never been allowed to call that game - he was biased from the start. It did make the win that much more sweet though. I think he is a really good announcer, but I still cringe when I hear him call a game.
That's what I feel like but I don't think that's much of an issue for college games.
He’s 6’1”. You don’t see many guys that size play above the rim. Doesn’t mean he won’t be good. He’s got great handle, NBA range, a strong frame, & a bulldog mentality.

I’ve never heard anyone here badmouth him. I’ve seen recruiting experts write-ups of his play that included “below the rim.” But these write-ups were nevertheless very positive.
I’ve never seen Steph Curry dunk and he might be the best PG ever.
Epps, along with Skyy, is the type of PG I want.

No, but I guess I must have forgotten about Jason Benetti's presence in the booth for that game.
He's a MUCH better shooter from outside than Cleaves. That's what limited him in the pros. Epps has a low release but is a great shooter.
I expect Hawk will play 25-30 mpg this year and average in double figures scoring, Also, people seem to miss how good of a rebounder he is.
I love Walton, Dick V, Hawk Harrelson, Gus Johnson and every other polarizing announcer.

What about Dan Dakich? I can't listen to him. Also, I have a hard time with Walton.
Dickie V was great 30 years ago, have never liked Harrelson. Walton and Gus Johnson definitely on my A-List. Always liked Dakich too but he's become pretty tedious
