Curious -- have you ever won any $$$$ in Vegas?
I have, but I don't bet regularly.

Here are some facts from: https://betiq.teamrankings.com/coll...rends/custom-trend-tool/?select_team=Illinois

Since after the Wisconsin game bye week last year when Walter's defensive scheme truly clicked in, the Illini have covered 5 of the last 6 games, beating the spread by an average of 19 in the covers.

Someday Vegas bettors will figure out the Illini truly have a very good defense and also now finally a competent QB (and coaching) to go with their running game. For this one, I think the road effect is canceled by the advantage of playing a game already. Illinois should be a 14 pt favorite, and I won't be surprised if it's a blowout.

Just for this week, I would like the Illini to hold them to field goals only and get the win. It doesnt have to be a shootout to be a win. Have a solid plan, execute it and produce. Go Orange !

All that great vinyl wrap on the trailer........and they stick it on a red semi. Smh. Just couldn't find a blue one......

I don’t think that’s the truck they are actually pulling it to the game with. (I’m choosing to believe that anyway.) The decal on the truck is a freight company. No idea, but I’d assume we own our own tractor trailer if we going to the expense of a wrap like that. Which is awesome btw!

Haha... I work at Dynagraphics. Trailer looks amazing! Friend of mine owns McCleod and company colors are red. Probably the reasoning.

having a game under our belts is a decent advantage.
about equal to them having home field.
its really a pickem game.
Connelly's rating system favors us by .6

could easily be who scores last, wins.
I'm not mentally prepared for a heart attack game ... but man, it feels good to go in with a healthy dose of optimism to a game like this. Even if we lose, Bret and Co. have already done a more-than-decent job of changing the culture.

Indiana had a number of injuries last season and lost a number of guys in the transfer portal. Know they picked some guys up but not sure how they are favored in this game. The Indiana D was horrible last season. They had no running game last season and depth doesn't look strong at that position again this season. Lost best WR and TE. They have a lot of pieces that don't have a ton of experience together. I could be way off but unless Bazelak lights up our secondary I see Illinois winning by double digits.

Illinois went 3-3 in last 6 games last season. Indiana went 0-6 in last 6 games and least amount of points they gave up was 29 points. I look for the Indiana offense to move the markers more than last season. That being said, Am I missing something with the Indiana D and it improving so much?

Only one week in and played Wyoming, but we lead the nation in time of possession. We are #1 :ROFLMAO:

I know Indy have at least 3 DL transfers, and line play was a big problem for them last year. Most of their transfers are from P5 schools too unlike some of the small school guys Illinois brought in. That’s not meant to be a knock on those the Illini brought in. The linemen came from Cal, UCLA and Ole Miss, two LB from Miami and KY, and two RBs (another problem area for them) from Auburn and NC.
