Is anyone watching the Purdue Wisconsin game? The halftime stats make it seem like it should be a close game, but it's not.
NW up at halftime over MD 17-10. Tagovailoa not playing, and it boy does it show.

Yes, with a lot of PSU friends who semi-support Illinois so I have to give them a courtesy rah. I’ve also had PSU students sing Illinois’ Alma Mater in exchange for a donation to their Thon that raises money for kids with cancer. So I can’t be mean.
And they legitted all over Iowa.
Mertz saved his annual Illinois day for Purdue this year.
I believe it was 21-0 at the end of the 1Q. Second quarter Purdue moved the ball really well, did everything but score a TD. Made the halftime stats look more equal.

The west is real weak. As fun as it is to think about winning out the reality is that we're likely to get spanked by Scum and OSU.
The great news is that we're advantage of a great opportunity.
LSU's field is numbered every 5 yards, instead of the traditional 10. I can't think of any other stadium that does that. It's weird.

Purdue has major defensive issues - poor tackling, weak secondary. They are dangerous on offense, however. Today - typical Purdue D, O'Connell is having a really bad day.

I’m never mean to neighbors who fly Iowa, Wiscy or lots of other B1G school flags as you see them all over the suburbs . 99.5 % are good people in all respects
was just wondering where you lived if folks in the pews would be sad tomorrow morning following a PSU loss .
stayed overnite in State College once . at the Nittanny Inn on campus . nice place . I make a point of staying at on-campus hotels or inns whenever in a college town . I’m never disappointed .

Six Iowa turnovers and they gave it up on downs at least three times in the second half. Ohio State didn’t exactly run roughshod over Iowa’s D. 54 points on 360 yards of offense is insane. If I played on Iowa‘s D I would hate my life.
When the Illini played the Badgers in Madison, we put a leash on that animal, sent it to Obedience School, and taught it who was their master. Purdue goes into Madison, and that crazed badger gnaws off their limbs. I think we are the team to beat in the West right now, and just have to guard against getting complacent. Coach B and staff will keep them focused.
