We didn’t have a great first half. Very sloppy at times. Seemed rusty after the bye. The last drive we seemed to click it in gear. Now we need to lock down the 2nd half

Played like !!! for the better part of the first half, and we still take a 20-9 lead into half with all the momentum. Illinois’ second half adjustments have been legendary this year, so I anticipate no more playing like !!! this game.

My guess is Coach B told Lunney to stop digging into his bag of trick plays, and start matriculating the ball down the field with old fashioned power football.

Both lines now dominating like we thought they would.

Aside from a panic attack I head earlier, I think we’ve settled in. Great ending to the half.

I was concerned...but oddly still not a panic. I think our coaches really get it...and they have a great connection with these kids. There's just no quit.
They believe. I believe.

Pretty sure he had a couple TDs last year, but I get what you're saying. He has been very good as a blocking TE, but it would be nice to see him more involved in the passing game.
