I was there that day as a 10 year old. I still remember #1 David Williams, and remember the goal posts coming down afterwards. I sat 4 rows from the top, but was hooked on Illini football ever since. Thank you for this reminder, and now there is NO way we will lose.

I hate it when Illini BB are in orange and they play IN or Wisky in red. It's very difficult for me to follow on a small tv screen

LIKE -- although I think Lunney is saving some/most of his "twists" for either (1) Purdue in the debut of ESPN College Day in Champaign, or (2) our visit the following week to Ann Arbor in a battle of #8 Illinois vs #1 Michigan.
That one Illinois-Wisky bball game from years back was especially horrible. I have solid vision and it at times just looked like madness on tv. If I recall, the announcers were making fun of it all game as well.
