A game you just can't lose like that but it happened. The program will take an emotional kick to the sack and fans will return to reality. If we win next week we are playing in the Reliaquest Bowl. If we lose, we go to the Music City Bowl. I think those are our options.

We battled. 27 yards away in a one-score game. But turned over the ball on downs in the red zone three times. That's the difference between a surprisingly good 8-9 win team and a shockingly great 10-11 win team. Back to earth I guess. At least it wasn't on ABC.

This will still be a great season and one that exceeds expectations by all measures.

But what I think I am most disappointed by is that for a moment there it looked like this had ‘magical’ season written all over it. 2001, 2007 type.

We need to show up next week or risk falling to 7-4 with Michigan following.
