It's really tough to grade anything against that level of competition. The Illinois performance was a bit sloppy, but fine overall. I'm surprised Lindenwood stayed within 33, but regardless just put one in the win column and look forward to the next game.

Not the biggest fan of trash time starting with 12 minutes left but also not gonna draw too many conclusions from tonight’s game.

Kind of wild that they turned it over 22 times, had an average night with the three, and still put up 90.

Trying to extrapolate what matters from this game, I think Skyy's aggressiveness is the highlight. Shots won't always come as easily, but he hurried everything up while still looking as mature and under control as he has been.

We where cruising then Underwood starting messing with lineup combinations and we got out of sync and really never got back in sync. Other than that I thought we looked great.

No, Coleman was facilitating the offense. He rebounded well and played 3 and several times brought the ball up. Agree he needs to also look to be a scorer or face being Ben Simmons.
He rebounded OK. Also had 6 turnovers facilitating the offense. Not impressive stats, he needs to and should play better.

It's hard to take anything away from statistical minutia from this game because the outcome was never in doubt, and the Illini were never under duress from anyone but coach Underwood.

It was an opportunity to keep the legs and shots fresh between Virginia and Syracuse, and it worked for the most part. Skyy and RJ got into the offensive flow and both shot like they'll need to on Tuesday to beat the Syracuse zone.

We have some good, GOOD freshmen who are going to be GREAT!! They Make up a pretty good line up already. Underwood had all five on the floor for a minute or two and they handled things. Every one brings a baller's attitude to the table and they love to pass.

Dain led steals with FOUR! I noticed after the last one he immediately gave it up. Smart move.

Wow, good game I guess??

This year has me really wondering what will happen in the B10. Kofi years were easier to predict. A quick pressing / switching team has not worked in the past. But, it may be what is needed go forward in the NCAA tourney. IU (soft) doesn't scare me, but Iowa, Purdue, Mich St. do.

Who know?, I trust in Daddy Brad

Audio only tonight for me as I continue my personal quest against the establishment ...."" The Man ""..............The purveyor of monetary dominance of the middle class , reaping benefits from the back pockets of many Illini fanatics and the B$G in general...................
Anyways , it sounded like a total domination of a lesser quality opponent than those in Vegas with excellent games from R J , Skyy and Epps.......

Coach on the radio interview...............

Epps is a handful and he had his best defensive game of the year
Illini switching D was impressive tonight and we are getting better on it every game
We are going to see 40 minutes of zone from cuse and it's the last year of the B$G - acc challenge contract
first B$G game next week on the road @ terps
lot's still to work on with some of the switching and defensive scheme's are from a lot of conversations with NBA executives on what the NBA players have to do ....it's now a switching league and you have to know how to guard 1-5 positions on the court.......

I'm already amped up to show boeheim the wrath of the B$G and let him choke on his misguided words.........
