11/26 Weekend Games

If they hold on to win today they I’ll for sure be undefeated into January. Next even theoretical chance for a loss looks like at OSU after the new year. Top 5 and one of the final unbeatens for sure by then.

Purdue has looked mortal in the second half. Duke just can't shoot - 2/17 from three, mostly wide open.

True. But Purdue is going to be a problem. Glad we only play them once.
Last game of the season we play them. March is a long way off. Three things on Edey this year:
1) can he sustain a larger work load this year through conference play.
2) how will he respond to more athletic bigs
3) how will he respond to games where the pace is sped up.
He is a menace, but has weaknesses.
Gonzaga and Duke are overrated early on. While nice wins it is not like beating these two teams last year. Talent level is vastly different.

Duke ends up 2/20 from 3 against Purdue. Purdue looked good early, but I sure don't see 5 star athleticism and ability on Duke. Wow.

I watched Duke play Oregon State. They might be a top 25 team but they are nothing like they were last year. I see them getting better but not that much better. Purdue on the other hand is really good. I had them in the middle of the pack this year in the BIG but they proved me wrong. This is a solid, solid team and could very easily win it. The BIG is much better than people anticipated and only the BIG 12 may be better.

Agree on Gonzaga and Duke but we will see. Edey is a load. As far as athletic bigs, Puke had a couple that he handled pretty good.

I'm glad nance went somewhere else than the beloved........as far as walton , to each his own.....I can't stand his ramblings and the halftime thing about the doughnut shop when he said he wanted to be a doughnut ??........wow....
But as I offered , to each his own.......

Nance is still just trying to find his game and how he fits there. Mayer hasn’t exactly played like gang busters for us so far. For some transfers, it takes time. I think he would have been a nice pick up for us. But like you said, to each his own.
