Very young team. It's one thing to tell them what Syracuse is going to do and how to break them down, but it's another thing to have them disciplined enough to put it to use in real time. It makes sense the three players who have looked most able to break down the zone are Mayer, CoHawk, and TSJ, our three most experienced players. Really impressed with CoHawk and Mayer thus far- the other players need to get on their wavelength in halfcourt offensive sets.
I could tell Skyy was trying to figure this thing out.
Look to him for a better second half.

It's crazy how Hawkins impacts the game so positively, yet he still looks like he could do so much more. I guess that's why he's on the NBA radar. He's got the potential.
People will probably be all over me for this comment but I have been thinking Coleman's ceiling is a poor man's Jokic with (much) better defense. If he plays like this with some consistency, 1st rounder IMO.

This is just ridiculous basketball at this point stop jacking up threes. As I say that thanks Hawkins!

I got blitzed on here last year for saying he had at least a high a ceiling as Brian Cook.
