Where is the defense? Need to find open shooters immediately on defense. Do not press - they are too guard heavy and will break it for an easy bucket every time.

lousy 1st half in front of a sold out crowd. thankfully we have the ability to go on long scoring runs at the drop of a hat, I'm sincerely hoping we can do that in the 2nd half.

Need better denial on Pickett. Can't keep letting him get the ball in every position he wants. Oh and also play help defense but please stop helping off the best 3pt shooter in the B1G.

Every single Big 10 team is going to bring it every single day. Gotta be ready. I was nervous about this one after the win the other night. Complacency has reared its ugly head.

Just unthinkably bad defense all around. Effort isn’t always the culprit when you see something like this but we’re just not engaged at all. Also: hurry up and get to the gym, TJ.

You cannot double this team if you leave an open shooter from 3, they will hit it the have 3 players shooting 40% from 3 zone or diamond in 1 on Pickett would be ideal, but we don't not practice them. So we are left with the defense we employ we just have to be better at it

Someone said last night that we should win in double digit fashion. I replied that I would be happy with a win! This team always plays us tough. I picked us at 23-10 for this years record. Unfortunately, this could be one of the ten unless we really turn it up 2nd period. Someone said it best the other day. This team will win some that you do not think they will and lose some that you do not think they will.

(Not so) fun fact. More points scored in this first half then when we played Penn State about 15 years ago under Weber for the entire game. That was my one game that season. I chose.. poorly.

I’m sure others felt the same, but I just knew this team would come out flat tonight. This ain’t your daddy’s Penn State. They can score.

I think at this point you have to double Pickett. He is a guaranteed bucket everytime or a 3 pt play. We need to do something different. He is just too strong in the post. Last year, Damonte had the length to keep him somewhat contained. We barely eeked out the win at SFC but lost Grandison in the process. Penn State is a very deliberate team and will play deep in the shot clock nearly every possession. We have to be controlled on offense and not try to get it back all at once. If we employ the same defensive strategy, game over.

I think we’re going to lose this game. Typical letdown. Saw this coming. However going 0-2 to start the B1G not good.
