I don’t think he was ever going to have the growth like Ayo…..Ayo was a different breed….mature way beyond his years….lived in the gym and that’s it….no partying or night life…..Curbelo thought….immature as can be….all about the night life…..which has more of an effect on him than the concussion….The concussion situation with Curbelo is really unfortunate. Certainly get Antonio Brown vibes from him and it’s hard not to consider what could have been should it not have happened. 2 years of natural or Ayo like growth on what Curbelo was as a freshman and we have a player of the year candidate in him this year.
Instead…
What are BU rules on this during season??I don’t think he was ever going to have the growth like Ayo…..Ayo was a different breed….mature way beyond his years….lived in the gym and that’s it….no partying or night life…..Curbelo thought….immature as can be….all about the night life…..which has more of an effect on him than the concussion….
I mean rules aren't always followed.....they went out the night before Penn St for Colemans birthday. They were out way late before the AZ game last year. What are BU rules on this during season??
Things just continue to piece together as to why BU's head was about to leave his body the last couple of weeks lol.I mean rules aren't always followed.....they went out the night before Penn St for Colemans birthday. They were out way late before the AZ game last year.
Where was this information before when we could be properly outraged and blame anyone and everyone for ruining the entire season and call for Underwoods head?!! Well, I guess that sorta happened anyway.I mean rules aren't always followed.....they went out the night before Penn St for Colemans birthday. They were out way late before the AZ game last year.
Grandy with only 17 minutes and zero points in Duke’s loss.
Not an insider but my understanding was he held out a long time trying to go pro. By the time he decided to play a fifth year, we already had Mayer on board and he was expected to lose PT.Did we try to keep Grandison and he wanted to leave? Or was it a matter of not liking where he was told his place on the team would be this year? I have to imagine he regrets the move in a basketball sense at least(and what in the world was he told by Duke regarding his place on their team??). Seems like a lot of teams could have used him better that he has been this year. His shooting sure would have been nice to have around this season.
Ya, they also have Skyy Clark at #65. Sooo about that list....
Still not sure what BU night before game "rules " might be....I mean rules aren't always followed.....they went out the night before Penn St for Colemans birthday. They were out way late before the AZ game last year.
I'll age myself here, but I remember partying with James Augustine one night. That dude could pound beers. He was double fisting all night. The next morning right before tip, the announcers credited him for "battling through flu-like symptoms," to play in the game.I mean rules aren't always followed.....they went out the night before Penn St for Colemans birthday. Had those flu like symptoms on occasion during my college years...I'll age myself here, but I remember partying with James Augustine one night. That dude could pound beers. I like Podz and would love to see him in the NBA, but I’m not buying this. Getting drafted in the same spot as Ayo? Unless Brad is an extremely poor evaluator of talent, he was our worst freshman last year. By going to SC, he is basically repeating his HS career of playing against subpar opponents. Once he needs to play against real competition, he will struggle. My opinion? He is too slow to play the NBA game. Hope he proves me wrong.
His poor futures. LoLWhat's with the shades Belo was wearing today? Weird. Oh wait, future must be that bright!
He plays Gonzaga. And put up good numbers in the first matchup….I like Podz and would love to see him in the NBA, but I’m not buying this. Getting drafted in the same spot as Ayo? I'm on the side of the argument that says, "Gonzaga plays Santa Clara and need to play real competition to earn a 1 seed."He plays Gonzaga. And put up good numbers in the first matchup….
Stop it please. Concussions are no joking matterHis poor futures. LoL
a little off topic, but I remember running into Dee Brown one night at Firehaus in summer of 2009. He was definitely...drunk. My buddies and I were having a conversation with him and he says something along the lines of "all I need in my life is my brothers" and then he proceeds to poke each one of the 4 us in our chests as he says "Luther....Deron....James....Roger"I'll age myself here, but I remember partying with James Augustine one night. This is a reference back to his getting hit in the “futures” during the big ten tournament.Stop it please. Concussions are no joking matter
