17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
Good stat line. I really like Podz and wish we didn’t lose him. I’m sorry, but he’s not going to be the 37th pick in the 2024 draft. Trent Frazier scored 32 points as a freshman against a P5 opponent. He didn’t even sniff the NBA. Ayo was an All-American and Cousey award winner and he was drafted #38. Dee Brown was a 2 time all American, BT player of the year and cousey award winner. He lead his team to a BT championship, BT tourney championship, and National Championship runner up. Drafted #46.

Agreed. He’s probably not getting drafted. That said. He’s also a lot bigger than trent and Dee which is huge in the nba.

Agree podz is long shot, but has plusses.....He has improved each year of college, , but biggest thing he has is an "Ayo" like work ethic.

T Herro is quicker I believe, but believe Podz comp with Herro is not outrageous....both are from Wisconsin and both can score.

For sure. Guys was on the court two hours before games in KC last year working on everything. Sucks that he left.

I am shocked how different Andre's role is on a pretty good STJ team. Alexander(?) is the primary ball handler and Andre camps on the wing or in the corner. When Andre gets the ball he does drive to hoop and dish to others.

At Illinois he was very ball dominant - Brad let him freelance. At STJ he has a secondary role. While his stats are OK 28 mpg 10.5 ppg 3 rbg 5 apg 2 spg they are not going to get him to NBA much less all Big East status.

I am guessing he is still bothered by concussion. He wears the red glasses and he has lost his knack for hitting difficult contested layups. They are no longer automatic

Tough one for AM tonight in a loss to #16 Auburn...

Miller played solid D as a frosh. He would have been a nice bullet to have in our chamber.
I was more referring his injury last year. If he had stayed here, been healthy and happy, then, yes, he would have been an asset.

Can’t find any video yet, but Curbelo swipes the ball away in the first half, then launches himself cleanly over the announcer’s table trying to complete the steal before landing in the lap of a male spectator. For good measure, he gives the fan a kiss on the cheek before returning to the floor. This dude is one of a kind… 😁

Two clunkers in a row. He’s 4-17 over his last two games. And to be clear, I’m rooting for the kid. I think he wants to be here.
Wow, 7-33 (21%) from the field and 4-21 (19%) from three over the last 4 games for AM, all losses for LSU.

Adam Miller leaving Illinois has turned into a disaster for him. He tears his ACL at LSU, then his coach is fired.

The new coach has Miller in the corner standing still on offense. He isn't allowed to handle the ball and is the 4th or 5th option for scoring.

He looks like he has regressed. Would take Podz over him any day. Now Podz could be a player for us this year, we would not have scoring droughts.
