Yep, I know we have to "worry about ourselves" or whatever ... but if we remain hot and get back into title contention, this one might haunt us. MSU hangs on, and the standings are truly WIDE open; as it happened, Purdue established themselves as the clear favorite ... for now. Not that RU isn't a great team (so glad we don't go to the RAC this year...), but if Rutgers can win in West Lafayette, Purdue can definitely lose a few more. We just have to keep winning!
Really wish Purdue came to Champaign, though.
How did P U pull this one out? My "score" board on my phone said Sparty was up one with 3 seconds to go! Much as I love to see

We got the B1G banner last year, the B1G tourney banner the year before, don’t care about either this year. Just improve & make a run in the NCAA tourney.
I'm not a betting man, but I'd be willing to bet all your money that BU has "Win the B1G conference and win the B1G tourney on the board for team goals this year

Most blatant call I have seen in many years and that's saying a lot for the obscene B$G refs we have now.....if it was larry s., that makes 2 of the worst calls or non calls this year that larry s. has been a party to.....the non call on the out of bounds snafu that gave tosu the win over ru....
Maybe if the players unite and refuse to play a game or two when these blind refs are announced will finally get the B$G's attention.......NIL $$ may help them with a wildcat strike and end this garbage we see every game in the B$G......JMHO....

2024 is not that far away , my friends and fellow Americans......One of my campaign platforms and vows to the nation is to clean up the piss poor performances we see in college BB nowadays and in the B$G in particular.........
I propose minimum standards such as zero tolerance on corrupt personal background checks.....
non-blind vision testing........
a serious understanding that the refs aren't the reason fans show up in the stands and watch on TV from their homes.......
drug testing of refs before game and at halftime
electronic dog collars for the oncourt refs to wear that replay officials can turn on for serious examples of cheating with flagrant I & II calls being 30 seconds on high velocity.....................
I have many more thoughts on the horrible state of B$G reffing but will start with these ideas...........

Purdue with 4 wins decided by 1 or 2 possessions. They may win the conference but they're not in a class of their own as their record and ranking might suggest.

I love it! F Purdue! Hopefully this game can teach us how to beat them, assuming they play the same way in our last game of the season matchup.

Loyer, FRESHMAN at Purdue, is really impressing me.
I saw this on the play-by-play just now. Pretty much encapsulates the B1G season this year. No one can stop Edey when PU needs a bucket.
To his defense, his ability to make those shots with 3 guys hanging on is super elite. Not sure how he can be a plus in the NBA, but some team will certainly give him the opportunity....and a ton of money.
LOL at the Izzo postgame, especially at about 7:50 when he asks a media member what they are laughing about.
Angry Elf is now 26-25 in B1G Conference games since 2020, including regular season and tourney.
