Saw that 'live' and it was glorious. My wife says "and he's a college student"? I reply, "Indiana".

Hard to find a perfect announcer, maybe roll Cosel, Gifford, Meridith, Keith Jackson and Vitale into one announcer.
Bardo and Humel both present themselves as persons who are extremely sincere and both are likable.
Guess I'm ignorant but L + ratio + TJD? I know TJD but L and ratio
Letās crush these [L]oosiers.
Ratio means team twitter follows I think? Pretty arbitrary since we were awful when most people who have twitter started to follow their perspective teams.Guess I'm ignorant but L + ratio + TJD? I know TJD but L and ratio
L means a loss so he's calling it a bad/irrelevant postGuess I'm ignorant but L + ratio + TJD? I know TJD but L and ratio
Still makes no sense overall to put all that together. Kofi owned TJD and Kofi isn't even here anymore.L means a loss so he's calling it a bad/irrelevant post
Ratio means he's trying to get more likes than the original post (from Illini MBB)
When a 184 game series is within three wins, itās a rivalry. Hereās to hoping (knowing?) we surpass IU soon.
Letās crush these [L]oosiers.
Underrated 2nd best moment of that game besides the Chester bump was Shaun Pruitt bricking free throws (shocking I know) at the end regulation or the first OT and then mauling the heck out of DJ White as White tried to throw the ball I'm the basket from 70 feet away. The shot had no chance of going in but Shaun should have been whistled for a foul.
I have attended quite a few games over the years, but hard to think of a game where the crowd wss more incensed than this one.
Gordon had a subpar game.
Bordering statesā¦

Wait, the series was tied in 2018???When a 184 game series is within three wins, itās a rivalry. Hereās to hoping (knowing?) we surpass IU soon.

That's it! Haven't see it in 30+ years. Do you still one or did you find this image online?View attachment 23022
Such a great poster, I couldn't resist go off topic (again)

What I find amusing is all the IU fans in the comments harping on about how they "don't care" about Illinois and don't consider us a rival. Yet they all took the time to not only seek out an Illinois bball post, but to comment on it as well. So much for not caring about us
Two words: FARM AIDNo need to apologize. Sometimes seems being off-topic is on-topic.
To that end, my best concert in Champaign was Def Leppard. Hard to top this one as it was also my first date with my wife. Honorable mention: Peter Gabriel.
Yes beating Indiana is high on my list too.
Yep. My sentiments exactly. What I find amusing is all the IU fans in the comments harping on about how they "don't care" about Illinois and don't consider us a rival. Beat Iowa in footballI genuinely thought Iowa (Bruce Pearl/Jimmy Collins conflict) and Mizzou (Braggin Rights game?) were the biggest rivalry games Illinois looks forward to. Purdue being an intrastate public university and the neutral site 50/50 splits game with Kentucky are the most hated teams from an IU perspective.
Depends who you ask. Illinois is a big state and geography plays a big role in who individual fans see as our rival. IMO, IU checks more boxes than the other rivals (border state, bad blood between past players/coaches, historically competitive with one another in conference, etc.).I genuinely thought Iowa (Bruce Pearl/Jimmy Collins conflict) and Mizzou (Braggin Rights game?) were the biggest rivalry games Illinois looks forward to.
